Arthur Costa

Mr. Costa was born on January 3, 1950 in Allentown, PA the son of Arthur and Regina (Finley) Costa. He married Cecile (Mallette) in1969.

He worked as an insurance consultant for several insurance companies. Mr Costa was an active participant in the New London community. He established and ran the New London Field of Greens farmer's markets for many years. He was passionate about the environment and supported many local sustainability projects. Most of his life was spent in the New London area. He loved New London and enjoyed walking throughout the community, especially by the water. He was an avid reader.

Mr. Costa is survived by his loving wife Cecile Costa; his father Ozzie Costa; his adoring sister Gina Tremblay (brother-in-law Bob); several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling Hours will be held on Monday, June 5th from 2pm to 4pm in Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 181 Ocean Ave., New London, CT 06320.

A private interment service will be held in the Connecticut Green Burial Ground of Hanover Cemetery.
