Anne DeVane Elizardi Bocskov on Monday, August 8, 2011, passed away after a lengthy illness. She was 69. Daughter of the late Peter and Mercedes Wright Elizardi, she is survived by her loving husband, Dimiter “Dimi” Bocskov, daughter Ryan B. Galapia (Carl), son Peter Bocskov, daughter-in-law Donna K. Bocskov, sister Mary E. Broome (Luther), beloved cousins and dearest friends. Anne retired from The Jefferson Parish School System, Greenlawn Terrace School. She was a native of New Orleans and resided in Metairie for 44 years.
A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St., on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 11:00 Am. Interment will follow at St. Patrick #2 Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed online at www.schoencanalstreet.com
