Burton Harold Himbert

Burton ”Buddy” Himbert passed away on Wednesday May 16th, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Debbie and son, Burton Joseph Himbert. The son of the late Violet Vesich Himbert and Burton Harold Himbert, Jr. and the brother of John(Chris) and Bruce(Dorothy) Himbert and the brother in law of Darryl Hammill(Sharon) and the cousin of Sandra Sumich(Leni) Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Buddy was a graduate of St. Aloysius High School and attended Southeastern La University, where he was a member of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity. An avid fan of Mardi Gras, Buddy reigned as Endymion XXI and was a former member of Endymion and the Krewe of Caesar. He was also a devoted husband and father and especially enjoyed traveling with his family. He also loved the New Orleans Saints and rarely missed watching a game.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Monday May 21st at 1:00pm at Jacob Schoen Funeral Home 3827 Canal St. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until Mass time.
