Carmel Dummet Wilthew

Carmel Dummet Wilthew of Mandeville, LA passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at the age of 88 years. A native of New Orleans and long time resident of Arabi, LA. Beloved wife of the late Bernard R. Wilthew. Mother of Jane Ramagos (Doug), Bernard Wilthew (Carol) and Stephen Wilthew (Pat). Also survived by nine grandchildren, Erin Songy (Gary), Paul Ramagos (Nicole), Jennifer Tilyou (Neal), Amy Forrest (Jack), Kirsten Wilthew, Jay Albe (Angela), Chad Albe(Kathy), Gina Necaise(Micah), Dawn Markman (Brian) and 16 great grandchildren. Carmel was a life long member of the Catholic Daughters, Court Mater Dei. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in the Chapel.
