I served with David aboard the Bucky B (USS BADGER) and he was always so funny.  Sorry to hear of his passing.

I DIDN'T KNOW DAVID BUT WHAT I AM READING HE WAS A FUN GUY TO BE AROUND KEEP U LAUGHING SORRY ABOUT YOUR LOSS DARLENE ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE TIMES YOU HAVE MORE QUESTIONS THAN ANSWERS AND A LOT OF WHY'S NEED TO TALK CALL ME I UNDERSTAND YOUR PAIN OF LOSS.

David theirs no words to say how much i will miss you you were not only my brother but my befriend. You were the only family i had left without you i will be lost. I love you always your sister short ship.

I did not know David, but I know his sister Darlene. I hate seeing her in such pain. My prayers go out to her that God will give her peace. Darlene if you read this, your quote was right. God does not give us more than we can handle, you are so much stronger than you think you are. I can see that your brother touched the lives of so many people, but especially you. He will live on in your heart forever. We will see our loved ones again, I know that is no comfort to you now, but there will come a day when you will be able to smile again.

I will miss  you. I'll always miss you saying PAULIE want a cracker. And me saying David can you hear me.... God has a place for you. You will never be alone. You will remain in our hearts always. GOD SPEED MY DEAR FRIEND.. PAUL.. :(

Iggy was a dear friend and workmate that I had the blessing of knowing for the past year and a half. He and I laughed constantly through the work week and rode together on crew change. He was a very talented man, able to cover and complete a wide spectrum of skills at his work. He was a fine cook and a great conversationalist. I learned a lot from him and will treasure memories of our times together. For all of us that mourn his passing know that we will all see him again at the resurrection. Regardless of who you are or where you stand in your life, you will see him again. Thank you, God, for sending this man across my path in life. My life has been made better by having known him.

Prayers go out to Dave's family and friends.  When you came in from offshore you were the "runner" for lunches.  I'll miss your jokes.  Sleep peacefully and watch over the rest of us left here on earth.

God our Father,

i am davids neice monika. i did not know him personally, but wish i could have. we talked and messaged each other on facebook. i will miss not knowing who you really are. i love you and will miss you.

David "Iggy" my good friend and working partner, It was nice to meet up and work with you your last hitch offshore, You always kept us laughing and made the days offshore seem shorter.  You will be missed. Mike Sanders, Greystar Corp. GC-52.

My prays go out to the family. It has been a long time since I have seen David. I grew up with him and family. His father was my godfather. I remember when we would go over to there house in Kenner. Our parents would play cards. We had alot of fun. My condolences to everyone. Stay strong and know that God is with you.
