Elodie Dee Gomez Giambrone

Elodie “Dee” Gomez Giambrone entered into eternal life on Saturday, June 30, 2012. Daughter of the late Henry Anthony Gomez and Anna Bachemin, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Albert and Henry Gomez, her son, Vincent L. Giambrone, Jr., her Nanan, Elizabeth Weicks and her beloved husband of over 60 years, Vincent L. Giambrone, Sr.

Dee was a gifted opera singer and dedicated wife and mother.

She is survived by her brother, Sal Falco, her sisters-in-law, Theo Gomez, Josephine Giambrone Renz, Mary Giambrone and her brothers-in-law, Bernardo “Benny” Giambrone and William Renz, Sr.

Dee will be sadly missed by her son, Michael Giambrone and his wife, Nina, and her daughter, Maria Giambrone and her partner, Randy Crim. She is also survived and loved by her grandchildren, Jonathan, Nicole, Nicholas (Lindy), Vincent, III (Sabine), Wendy, as well as five great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends of the family are welcome to attend a Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St. on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 1:30 pm.
