Glenda Ann Simon

Glenda Ann Lavigne Simon, a native of Los Angeles, CA and a resident of New Orleans, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at the age of 64. A retired nurse, she is survived by her children, Lynette R. Simon, Jeanlarae Simon and Raja L. Navarro (husband Juan); grandchildren, Dennis Christopher Simon, Sean Michael Belcher, Bryson Aaron Martin, Marcus Xavier Navarro, Alexander Matthew Navarro, and Chloe Elena Navarro; siblings, Thomas Lavigne, Jr., Jerry Lavigne, Sr., Larry Lavigne, Sr., and Janet Bickham. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Cloteil Holmes Lavigne and Thomas Lavigne, Sr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St., New Orleans on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. with visitation at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 A.M.
