James P. Asher, Sr. a U. S. Air Force Veteran, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Marie Rancatore Asher, father of James P. Asher, brother of Agnes Fiegel, Lilly Bermond, and Matthew Asher. Son of the late Lillian and Prentice Asher. James was born in Bay St. Louis and resided in New Orleans for the past 40 years. He was a retiree of Lone-Star Cement and Turner Marine Bulk.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation and Funeral Mass at Schoen Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA on Thursday, May 30, 2013.
