James P. Pittman Jr.

James F. Pittman, Jr., age 77, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at his home in Kenner, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents; James F., Sr., and Anna P. Pittman. He is survived by his wife, Vera H. Pittman and three children; Pamela Trainor (John), James III (Michelle) both of Metairie, LA, Patricia DePaul (Michael) of Baton Rouge, LA; a brother Michael E. Pittman (Rita); seven grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews..

Jim was a retired practicing CPA, maintaining his own firm for 40 years. He was an alumnus of Jesuit and Loyola with graduate courses at Tulane. An avid sports fan, Jim followed all of them and played most of them. He was active in Divine Mercy Parish as a lector and as a Eucharistic Minister to Ochsner-Kenner.

Friends will be received at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Nativity of Our Lord site, 3325 Loyola Drive, Kenner, LA on Monday, December 17, 2012 beginning at 11:30 A.M. followed by the Funeral Mass at 1:00 P.M. A private inurnment service will be held on a later date at Hope Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
