Ms. Julia had to be one of the sweetest people I have ever met, she never had a foul word to say. She lived by the rule, if you don't have something nice to say, then don't say anything at all. She was one of the kindest people I have ever known. We could all learn a life's lesson from her. We will surely miss her. #171  Rouquette Lodge.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Ward family.  I am the oldest daughter of Sherman Stewart, (pictured here) who worked many, many years for the Ward family.  He was very grateful of both Mr. Tom and Ms. Julia for helping him support his family by providing work for him.

Daddy always said how much he appreciated the "extra work" given to him.  Ms. Julia would find things around the house for him to do in addition to his regular job working for the company.  This allowed him to raise eight children who grew up to be loving and respectful.

His affiliation with Ms. Julia and her kind and thoughtful ways helped him teach us to "not judge a book by its cover".  That is a phrase we've carried with us throughout our lives; and also teach to our children.

Dianne and Julie, may you have beautiful memories of your mother and when sadness comes, just think of the things she did to make you smile.  She will always be in your hearts.

Ms. Julia was probably the sweetest, kindest person I have ever known.  She frequently told me that she "just loves people".  It showed in her words and deeds.  Always smiling and always a kind word for anyone who came near her. Never met a stranger. I am proud to call her my friend and I will always remember our long conversations and her great fudge she made and passed out at Christmastime, that she so painstakingly made, until well into her nineties. It truly was the very best.  To Diane and Julie, you were the best two daughters anyone could ask for.  You treated your mother so well. We will miss her sweet smile and we will always think of her fondly and remember her forever.

Sorry to hear about the passing of Julia, while I never met her I always heard of her often (Julia and I were 1st.cousins)/Tom Berthelot was my uncle.
