LaVerne Ringenberg Fiorella

LaVerne Fiorella (neé Ringenberg), 81, died peacefully on October 4, 2012. She was born, October 12, 1930 in New Orleans, LA. She is preceded in death by her mother, Olivia McConnell Lotruglio, father, Andrew Ringenberg, and her sister, Delores Chiantella. Since 2010, she has grieved the loss of her loving husband, Andrew. Married for 61 years, LaVerne and Andrew have a beautiful family. Children: Shelley Guthrie; Karen Faubion, husband Jack; Anne-Marie Martin, husband Bill; Andrew J. Fiorella, Jr., wife Donna; Kevin A. Fiorella, wife Christine. Grandchildren: Andrew Harold Juge, wife Dawn; Renee Juge (deceased); Albert E. Oestriecher, III; Jeffrey J. Oestriecher; Jennifer Fiorella; Danielle Revere, husband Justin; Nicholas Rizzuto; Daniel Fiorella; Stephanie Rizzuto; Casey Fiorella; Michael Fiorella. Great-grandchildren: Andrew H. Juge, Jr.; Alyssa Juge; Anthony Juge; Braden Revere. And one great-great-grandchild: Aiden Juge, and a host of loving nieces and nephews. LaVerne was an accomplished pianist, filling the house with music and song. She was also accomplished in business working for Fiorella’s Fine Foods, owner of a gift shop, the Purple Petunia, and a successful realtor. The family appreciates the care provided by the nurses and staff of McComb Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following her stroke. Family and friends are invited to the visitation Monday, October 8, 2012 beginning at 10:00am followed with a Funeral Mass at 1:00 pm at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal.
