Mrs. Lorraine Jubin Antonini

Lorraine (Cher) Jubin Antonini, passed away on January 11, 2011. She was 92 and a native of New Orleans. She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. George Antonini, her beloved son, Louis Joseph (Chip) Antonini and her beloved sister Yvette Jubin Barron and father Eugene Jubin. Mother of Dr. Charles Antonini (Hot Springs, Ark), Kris Muldrey, Yvette Rothaermel, Mary Catherine (Kit) Shanks and Lawrence (Larry) Antonini all of New Orleans. Grandmother of Dawn Kelly, Kris and Bret Rothaermel, Lydia and Celia Antonini, Daniel and Jonathan Shanks and Cyrus Barker. Great grand Mother of Conor Taliancich and Elizabeth Lorraine Kearns.

Cher’s great personality and loving spirit will be missed by her children, her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, wonderful neighbors and special friends from St. Pius X Church and the Lay Carmelites at Mt. Carmel Academy, the grocery store, the bank, the cleaners. She was loved by all. Relatives and friends are invited to visitation and a Funeral Mass at St. Pius X Church, 6666 Spanish Fort Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124, (504) 282-3332, Monday, January 17, 2011. For visitation 10am-11am and Mass at 11 am. Internment will be Tuesday, January 18, 2011, 9am at St. Louis Cemetery No 3. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Piux X Church.
