We met all of the Robert family through Memere's granddaughter Renee. What a wonderful and loving woman we found Memere to be and will always feel smiles in our memories of her sense of humor which was punctuated by a great laugh and shining smile. I remember being struck by the LOVE that surrounded her when we were included in the Robert Christmas gathering only a couple of years ago. She was so obviously adored and seemed to have unconditional love for all who gathered with her. Our hearts go out to all of the family at this time of grief and mourning. You all remain in our thoughts and prayers.

It's not easy saying Good bye" to our parents.  Sincere condolences to all of her beautiful family.  BEAUTIFUL SMILE, ALWAYS.  That's what I remember.

As children, we can't comprehend or fully realize the meaning of a grandmother's love. How wise she is, how much patience she has, or how much guidance she gives us by her example and by her helpful caring ways. Years go by before we know and understand the depth of her concern and the love in her protectiveness. But as we mature we do finally understand and we can look back and see through older eyes and wiser hearts her unconditional love, devotion, and family loyalty. It's these and many other things that make us realize how lucky we have been and how lucky we are to have had this amazing woman - our Memere- as the centered root of strength and love in our life.

Kenny's mom and dad were legends in our industry and I remember their kindness to me over the years. I vividly remember when I was a kid, going down to Kenny's parents camp probably 50 years ago > I believe in Lake Catherine > went water skiing, fishing, boat riding and just having fun.   

I also remember after retirement, Mr & Mrs Robert disappearing in there mobile home on jaunts thru this great nation of ours. That was before cell phones and Kenny & Ronnie and the family would not know their whereabouts for weeks at a time > the senior Roberts loved making the junior Roberts worry a little. They knew how to have fun and they instilled a joy of life into their kids.  They also instilled in them a commitment to be good citizens, good parents, good brothers and sisters and just in general good people. 

Mrs Robert was always the glue that kept all of the family together. A great lady > a great family.

May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace.

I'm sending this to the family of a very loving woman that touched my heart over 30 years ago when she gave me a membership to the Hummel Club. I always felt a connection to her over the years because of her generosity. I was her hairdresser at 21st Century Hair Salon and kept in touch for years with cards. I know she had a great love for all her family and my heart goes out to you as you grieve this loss, but I know you'll be comforted by the beautiful memories!

So sorry to hear about Mary Francis' passing.  Now she and Johnny will be together forever.  Sorry Yvette and I will not be able to make the funeral however please know that Mary Francis and all of you are in our prayers.  God Bless.

So sorry to hear about Ms Tanny's passing. I will always remember Ms Dot, Ms Tanny and my mom (Mary Jane May) playing canasta and laughing and laughing all afternoon. They sure had some good times together. The family will be in my prayers.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

We knew this news was inevitable and we were expecting it due to Mama Bear's deteriorating condition.  We are sad for you and your family because we know that Mama Bear was the true heart of the Robert Family.  We will always treasure ALL the memories we have from the visits and holidays spent with your family.  Even our very first trip to Switzerland and the beautiful friendship that has endured and will last for our lifetime.

Her laugh was contagious.  Her cooking was superlative.  Her love of family was indisputable.  We were blessed to be part of that 'family' and we will always be grateful.  

She and Papa Bear are together now.  He's probably in a recliner asking her for something...don't you think?

We are so sorry for your loss,  It is hard to lose your mom.
