Mary Lily Doherty Hauck Sholl

July 8, 1920 – December 2, 2010

We are deeply saddened to announce the death of our beloved mother, grandmother and friend on Thursday December 2, 2010. She celebrated her birthday on July 14th the date of her adoption into the Doherty Family. Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husbands George E. Hauck and Bradford R. Sholl and two children, Florence Mary Hauck and Susan H. Lucinski. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth H. Miller and her husband Jean; George William Hauck and his wife Sheryl; six grandchildren, Courtney E. Miller, Florence M. Baker, Mikel Hauck, Matthew Hauck, Amanda Hauck and Amy Williams; six great grandchildren, Joshua A. Burton, Lilly Williams, Amanda Williams, Bray Hauck-Normand, Alexandra Hauck and Joseph Baker and sisters-in-law, Ruth Alfortish Hauck and Hilda Brannan.

A special thanks to the Nurses and Staff at St. Anthony’s Nursing Home for the caring and loving environment they provided.

Relatives, friends and staff of St. Anthony’s Nursing Home are invited to attend the Funeral Mass to be celebrated in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119 on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2010 at 11:00 A.M.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on TUESDAY beginning at 9:00 A.M. Interment will be in Cypress Grove Cemetery. Guest book may be signed on line at www.schoencanalstreet.com.
