Ralph Francis Downey

Ralph Francis Downey, II age 74, passed away Tuesday, July 26th at 3:24 PM. He was the son of the late Lawrence and “Mae” Mary Elizabeth Downey, grandson of the late Angeline Antoinette Semeria Downey and the late Charles Gordon Downey, Sr.; Nephew of late Ola Ledet Downey, the late Francis Joseph Downey, Sr., the late Viola Winters Downey, the late Charles Gordon Downey,Jr. and the late Ralph Frederick Downey. Ralph was the cousin of Lois Downey Mura, the late Edward Mura, Francis Joseph Downey, Jr., Janis F. Downey, June Mura Downey, the late Joseph Eugene Downey, Paul Atwood, John Atwood, Gloria Atwood McLaighlin, Marsha Atwood Woods and the late Anna Miriam Atwood Boyle Thames. A native of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation Thursday, July 28th beginning at 8:30 AM at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans followed with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Benilde Catholic Church, 1901 Division Street, Metairie, LA.
