All that I can say is that I am sorry for the loss of Mrs. Vidacovich. My thoughts will be with you in my future prayers.

"I oft-times think of childhood days, and games we used to play..."
If I listen closely, I can still hear those words in Great Ma-maw's (Anna Mae Porche) singsong voice from my own childhood days.  As I close my eyes, I can picture my dearest Aunt Rosie sitting on a porch swing in the clouds with her mother--humming, singing, and swaying to these tunes, waiting for us all to join.

As I flip through my memories of Aunt Rosie, I more so recall a distinct, pleasant feature of hers--her voice. Her voice had a dulcet, soothing tone that captivated your utmost attention; it was almost, quite simply, otherworldly.
In times like these, we search for the right words to truly capture the spirit of a person.  For me, one of my favorite words comes to mind--just the one:
Mellifluous (adj.) -sweet sounding; flowing as if sweetened with honey.
I've often wondered at which point or what context this word may actually be used.  Now, I realize that it very much has and will always define the sweet voice and sweet person that is, was, and ever shall be my Aunt Rosie.  Any one of us who has had the pleasure of hearing Rosemary speak can truly understand this sentiment, and may even hear the memory of her laughing voice now.

Though we shall miss her greatly (and my heart extends to her devoted, fun-loving Uncle Bill), I like to envision her waiting on the other side, welcoming us all to a Mother's Day picnic that lasts until all eternity.

So sorry for your loss. May God give you and your family comfort and peace. God bless.

I thank God for you and Aunt Rosey and the times we shared together! Thank you for being a pillar, inspiration and model marriage for the younger generation of this family. To one of our other Pittari Place families, it is in deep regret and much heartache when we heard of Miss Rose passing.  The Richier family enjoyed playing, eating and laughing in the kitchen at your home and in the park in lower Algiers. Miss Rose's departure is just  a part of the completion of her life & the lives both of you helped create.  To have had such a journey with so many lives ya'll have touched is truly the culmination of one's existence.  Though she will be missed she gave of herself so much to others that she will live on forever through their actions, words & deeds.  I am sorry for your loss but I am certain you will celebrate her in the manner in which she'd celebrate your life and times.
