Thomas George Riviere

THOMAS GEORGE RIVIERE, born October 15, 1951, at 61 years of age entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 10, 2013. Tommy was the beloved son of the late George and Bella Riviere. He is survived by his sister, Rosanna Riviere Guidroz, and brother, John Ford Riviere (Geri Alvarez Riviere). He is fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews as the most loving and kind uncle with the tender heart who loved them dearly. Tommy also loved all animals, especially his Yellow Lab, Dakota. Cooking, dancing and listening to music were just a few of his favorite past times. He touched the hearts and souls of all those he knew---so many relatives, friends and fellow co-workers of Tire Kingdom. During his lifetime, and especially during the months of his illness, Tommy always retained a calm and peaceful spirit who will be forever remembered as a truly good son and brother. A private Christian burial was recently held at Greenwood Cemetery. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the medical staffs of Slidell Memorial Hospital, The Guest House of Slidell and Canon Hospice who so kindly cared for him.
