Vincent William Farrington

Vincent William Farrington, Sr. passed away on Wednesday January 1, 2014. He is survived by his former wife, Faye Farrington, two sons, William Farrington, Jr. (Denise), Jack Farrington, as well as his sister, Helen Farrington Monteiro, three grandchildren; Bridget Farrington, Allen Farrington, Victoria Farrington many nephews, nieces, and his longtime companion, Wilda Fisher.

He was predeceased by three brothers, Edwin Coinson, Charles Farrington, and Robert Farrington, Jr., two sisters, Audrey Dieck, Dwail Coinson and grandson Michael Farrington.

A native of New Orleans. Former owner of National Electric Supply Co. and El Ranchito Restaurant. He served in the U.S. Merchant Marines during World War II.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Tuesday January 7 at noon in the chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 9:30am and continue until Mass time. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery #1.
