William Henry Calvert Jr.

William H. Calvert, Jr., born February 22, 1928, passed away on February 21, 2012 and embraced angels to help him make his way to his Heavenly Father and his Lord. He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Joyce Johnson Calvert; children, Sylvia Calvert Mosman (Randy Mosman), Edward Dycus (stepson), and Joy Calvert Pecot; grandchildren , Randall Mosman, Robert Mosman, Brittany Mosman, Elizabeth Pecot and William Pecot; great grandchildren, Montana Pecot and Izabella Pecot; his sister, Myrtle Mary Calvert; brother, Raymond Calvert (Ellen) and numerous cousins and extended family. He was a self employed antique dealer and a Veteran of World War II. The family would like to thank Odyssey Hospice of Mobile for their kindness and compassion. "For the Lord is good, his mercy is everlasting and his truth enduring to all generations" (Psalm 100:5) Funeral Services will be held at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 10:00 AM with visitation beginning at 8:00 AM.
