Brenda Joyce Bolden

Our beloved mother, grandmother and sister Brenda Bolden went to be with our wonderful Savior Jesus on January 5, 2025. She claimed salvation when she was young and confirmed it with a declaration days prior to her death. She was born on December 23, 1941 and just celebrated her 83rd birthday!

She was a member of Goins Chapel Church. She loved Christmas with family, family gatherings and flowers of all kinds.

She was preceded in death by her husband Archie Bolden, father and mother Charles and Nila Fowler, sister Shirley Bernice Haynes and brother Charles "Chuck" Fowler.

She is survived by her four children Lisa McLean (Tom), Yvonne Raby (Anthony), Kim Boldin, and Joey Thomas (Joanne). Sisters Vinnia Parker (Merle), Charlotte Larson (Lenny), Anita Carpenter and brother Wayne Fowler.

She was blessed with eleven grandchildren: Tiffany Walker (Ricki), Jasmine Harmon, Lindsay Collins (Stephen), Meagan Parker (Mark), James Parker (Ashley), Alexis Henson (Brandon), Joshua Boldin, Jesse Boldin, Jarred Boldin (Alyssa), Jordan Boldin and J.M. Thomas.

She was double blessed with 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She loved her special friends who stood by her through everything, Ralph and Barb Williams and Candace Meyers.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday January 8, 2025 from 5 until 7 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will be held on Thursday January 9, 2025 at 10 AM in the Greer Cemetery in Tazewell.
