Carl Fred (Fred) Taylor

Carl (Fred) Taylor age 77 of Thorn Hill, TN was born March 9, 1939 and passed away January 16, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. Fred was loved by all. He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Rutha Taylor; brothers, Ray Taylor and Bob Taylor; sisters, Marie Atkins, Mary Taylor and infant Sister.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years: Tina Taylor

Sons and Daughters: Richard Elkins, Roy Elkins, Susan Taylor Gilbert and Jean Taylor Atkins

Grandchildren: Richard Elkins, JR, Arron Elkins, Marvin Taylor, Cecilia Gilbert, Kristopher Sponaugle, JR and Taylor Gilbert Smith

Four Great Grandchildren: Achilles, Chasity, Sofia and Anthony

Seven Siblings: Alf Taylor, Louise Taylor Jarnigan, Paul Taylor, Shirley Taylor, Ruby Taylor Spence, Roy Taylor and Bruce Taylor

And a host of niece, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday January 18, 2017 from 5 until 8 P.M. at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell with funeral service to follow at 8:00 P.M. Wednesday night in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel . Burial in the Ray Taylor Cemetery on Raven Ridge.
