During her life Carol had many careers, she was everything from a dental assistant and jeweler to a realtor, her last job before retirement was as an x-ray technician. In her downtime she enjoyed traveling and going to casinos, when she was at home she could usually be found watching crime shows. More than anything Carol loved her great grandsons Parker and Ryan.
She is preceded in death by her parents Press Lee and Tennie Ballew and several siblings. Son Brian Lawson.
Carol is survived by her daughter Candace Lawson. Granddaughter Melanie (Brandon) Cook. Great grandsons Parker and Ryan Cook. Siblings Clarence Ballew, Retha Bolton, Sherry Fuller, and Roger Ballew. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
