Clint Cosby

Clint Cosby, Jr., age 72 was born December 4, 1938 and passed away on April 22, 2011 at Claiborne County Hospital after a four-month battle with lung cancer. Junior loved to spend time with his best friend and grandson, Alex Maiden, hunting, fishing, and farming. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clint Sr and Eppie Cosby; brothers Claude and Hollis, half brother Lucas, half sister Ella Mae and infant son Gary Ray Cosby.

Grandsons: Alex Maiden and Javon Brasfield

Daughter: Mary Ann (Chris) Brasfield

Son: Timmy Cosby, brother Kenneth, half brother Leon and half sister Hazel. Several in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles to mourn his passing. A special thank you to Amedysis Home Health and Hospice including Tracy Thayer and Earlene Townly who were there throughout his illness until the end; and to Claiborne County Hospital nurses including Barbara, Bonnie and Morgan and to Dr. Pannocchia and his group for their care during the past week. A special thank you to the Chaplains that visist Claiborne county Hospital who saw to his spiritual needs, especially to Brother Gilbert who led Junior to the Lord in February and to the Hospice Chaplain Rev. Long. Thank yo to all who visited and brought food during his illness. Graveside service Sunday April 24, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at Poplar Grove Cemetery. Minister will be the Amedysis Hospice Chaplain Rev. Garland Long. Singers will be James Cosby Family. Pallbearers will be friends and family.
