Donald Hayes

Donald Floyd “Bush” Hayes age 67 of Thorn Hill, passed away on Friday May 16, 2014 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born September 4, 1946, and accepted Christ later in life. He was a lifelong farmer and his hobby was fox hunting.

He was preceded in death by parents, Wiley and Harriet Hayes, infant sister, Sally Cleo Hayes and brother, Vaughn (Buster) Hayes all of Thorn Hill.

He is survived by sisters, Ruby Hayes and Edna Farmer of Thorn Hill ;brothers and sisters-in-law: Lon and Joan Hayes of Thorn Hill , Fred and Deulah Hayes of Morristown; Two daughters: Crystal Lovin of Tazewell and Amanda Gibson of Sneedville; two granddaughters, Allison and Amelia; caretakers: Zenja “Punkin” Farmer( niece) Leanne Bailey (Great-niece) and Jolene Acuff and special great nephew and great great nieces Zavoy West, Lilanna Bailey, Haley Jordan, and Paisley Brooks all of Thorn hill several nieces nephews great nieces and nephews , great great nieces and nephews and many cousins and friends

The family will receive friends Sunday May 18 from 6-9pm at the Coffey Funeral home in New Tazewell , funeral service will be Monday May 19 at 1:00pm in the Coffey funeral home chapel in New Tazewell burial in the Hayes cemetery.
