Harmon Junior Brooks, age 73, of Mooresburg, TN (formerly of Tazewell) was born on April 23, 1946 and passed away peacefully at his home on November 14, 2019. He was saved and baptized at an early age and was a member of Little Valley Missionary Baptist Church.
Harmon is preceded in death by his parents, Silus and Rozette Brooks; his sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ethel (Clarence) Owens; brother, Walter Lee Brooks; brother and sister-in-law, Howard William (Barbara) Brooks; brothers-in-law Jim Atkins; Chester Bolden; Leroy Evans; Tony Smith and Deboice Brooks and granddaughter Megan Mullins.
He is survived by his loving wife and caregiver: Lois Brooks of Mooresburg, TN;
Children: Teresa (Mike) McDaniel of Tazewell, TN;
Richard (Melinda) Brooks of Morresburg; Shane (Christy) Seal and Lisa Mullins of Sneedville, TN;
Sisters: Bobbie Atkins of Tazewell, TN; Velma Brooks, Martha (Clyde) Russell, Joheny (Ual) Russell, Georgia (Ronald) Atkins and Phyllis Brooks all of New Tazewell, TN; and Rebecca Evans of Riceville, TN.
Brothers: Hubert (Faye) Brooks and Roger (Mae) Brooks of New Tazewell, TN; Mike (Joan) Brooks of Tazewell, TN and James (Tanya) Brooks of Speedwell, TN
Grandchildren and great Grandchildren: Brandon (Emily) Short, Bradley (Natasha) Short, Tiffany Gulley, Sarah Seal, Erica Seal, Jacob (Kaley) Seal, Jena Mullins, Logan Mullins, Harley Gillis, Harmony Skiscim, Zander Seal, Braylon Gulley, Nicholas, Branton and Oaklyn Short. As well as a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Saturday November 16, 2019 at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell, TN. with funeral service to follow at 7:00 P.M. in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the Bethel Cemetery .
