Hollis Seavel Jessee

Hollis Seavel Jessee was born on August 14, 1946, to Homer and Bertha Jessee. He passed away April 24, 2026, surrounded by his wife and family. Most of his life he lived in New Tazewell, but for the last 17 years, made his home in Deerlodge, Tennessee.

Hollis was known for his laughter and never met a stranger.

He is survived by his loving wife Patricia of Deerlodge; children, Brian Jessee and Kimberly (Nathan) Wilson; grandchildren, Cameron (Paisley) Foland, Caislee Foland (Wesley Brooks) and Cara Bell Wilson; great-granddaughter, Kennedy Rose Foland; sisters, Peggy Stewart and Betty Runions, all of New Tazewell; brothers-in-law, Jim (Lillian) Leach and Mike (Kathy) Leach; sisters-in-law, Teresa Hamby and Sandy (Hal) Dalton; along with several loving nieces and nephews and lots of Amish friends that he considered family.

Hollis was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Bertha Jessee; brother, Terry Jessee; and mother-in-law, Lela Leach.

Hollis was very well loved in life and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Burial will be at Beason Cemetery with Coffey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
