James Hollis Carr age 64 of new Tazewell, TN was born September 21, 1946 and passed away October 24, 2010 at his home. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He enlisted in 1966 and was discharged in 1972. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Trula Carr; brothers, Floyd Pete Carr, Bil Carr, Robert Carr and sisters, Violet Mullins, Edith McBee, Louise Crawford-Vogel and Linda McCourt.
He is survived by his daughters; Sandra Rowlett of Columbia, KY
Hollie Petty of New Tazewell, TN.
4 Grandchildren; Jerrica Rowlett, Cassie Rowlett, Hunter Newcomb and Ashlee Petty.

Anna Walker of Morristown, TN
Jean Dalton of Knoxville, TN
several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends 6 until 8 P.M. Tuesday at the Coffey Funeral Home.
Graveside service 1:00 P.M. Wednesday October 27, 2010 at the Riverview Cemetery.
