Johnnie M Brooks

Johnnie Mae Brooks, wife of Charles Brooks age 75 of New Tazewell, TN was born December 20, 1941 and passed away May 26, 2017 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family. Johnnie was saved at an early age. She was a dedicated Sunday School Teacher and member of Lone Holly Missionary Baptist Church. She was a passionate nurse at the Claiborne County Hospital and Nursing Home and retired with over 25 years of service. Most of all, Johnnie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was preceded in death by her natural father and mother, John and Martha (Ramsey) Sulfridge and adopted parents, Bob and Hattie Bussell.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years: Charles Brooks

The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 P.M. Saturday May 27, 2017 at Coffey Funeral Home with funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Sunday May 28, 2017 in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the Fairview Cemetery
