Kate Ethel Cloud

Kate Ethel Cloud age 94 was born December 11, 1916 and departed this life on February 14, 2011 at the Claiborne County Nursing Home with her family by her bed side. She was a very family oriented person who loved and enjoyed being the life of the and party and center of attention. She always greeted everyone with a smile, a hug something funny to say. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry “Pug” Cloud and Porter Johnson Cloud; Brothers, Webb, Henry, Bill, Andy and Charles Cloud; Sisters, Athene Johnson, Clara Cloud Goins, Mary Porter Cloud Robinson, Henrietta Cloud Goins and Lula Mae Cloud.

She is survived by a loving and devoted daughter and son-in-law: Betty Jean (Ricks) and Henderson Buis of Tazewell, TN

Devoted Grand-Daughter and Companion: Elizabeth Buis and Donnie Goins of Morristown, TN

One Brother: Albert Cloud of Tazewell, TN

Sister-in-law: Mary Ruth Cloud of Tazewell, TN

Devoted Niece: Carolyn Ford

Special Friends: Jean Ketron Johnson and Family; Drummonds Family; Margaret and Clifford Bull, Eleanor, Martha and Leo Yoakum, Rosa Stubblefield and Eula Bundren, Betty Cawood of Jacksonville, Florida, Etta Lee (Poodle) and Elvia Barnett. She had a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 P.M. Thursday February 17, 2011 at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell with funeral service to follow at 7 P.M. Thursday night in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the Irish Memorial Gardens on Friday February 18, 2011 at 11:00 A.M.
