Mae Manning, age 90 of New Tazewell, born June 29, 1924, passed away peacefully May 9, 2015 at her home. She professed faith in Christ at an early age at Paw Paw Grove Baptist Church where she remained a member until her death but attended Chittum’s Chapel Baptist Church in her later years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas A. “Tom” and Gertrude DeBord Greene; brother, Mack Greene; husband, Charlie Manning. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Zella and Clark Nunn. The family will receive friends from 5-7PM Monday, May 11, 2015 at Coffey Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7:00PM with Rev. Jakie Cunningham and Rev. Fred Reed officiating. Singers will be the Reed Family and Chittum’s Chapel’s Choir. Graveside service will be held at the Antrican Cemetery at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 12, 2015 with Coffey Funeral Home staff serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearer: Frankie Bolden.
