She was saved at 6 years old and became a member of Chittum Chapel Church where she remained a member until her death. She loved her church dearly and was the pianist and sang there. One of her highlights for many years was singing with Melissa Short.
Her work family at Enrichment Federal Credit Union was also one of her true blessings. She met so many people there and helped so many people. Her love and kindness she showed will forever live on through the ones who knew her.
Sherry also had many friends during her battle with cancer that she referred to as her "village". These people prayed for and encouraged her through many difficult moments. There was so much love shown to her throughout her cancer journey and the family would like to say how much they appreciate all that everyone did for her.
Sherry was blessed with her grandchild, Journee, on July 11th, 2023. Journee was the light of her life and such a blessing to her. The love that she shared with Journee, her husband Mike, and daughter, Heather, truly made her life complete.
