Sue Davis

Sue Davis, age 75, of Sneedville TN, was born June 27, 1946 and passed away on Monday September 6, 2021. Sue was saved when she was 26 at Brewers Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She was baptized and joined Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church, where she remained a member until her death.

Sue was preceded in death by her daughter Lorri Ann Trent; husband Jim Davis; father and mother Jess and Nannie Bunch of Sneedville; brothers Jess (Alice) Bunch Jr. of Morristown, Paul (Macle) Bunch, Harold Bunch of Sneedville, and Tommy (Doris) Bunch of Ohio; sisters Ada (Warren) Coldiron of Morristown, Louise (Gene) Cook, and Maxine (Kenny) McKinney of Ohio.

She is survived by her daughter Angela (Tim) Slone;

Son Anthony (Amanda) Davis;

Grandchildren Taylor (Justin) Brock, Katie Davis, Austin Davis, and Hunter Slone;

Great Granddchild Dawson Trent Brock;

Sister-in-law Mary Bunch of Morristown;

As well as many nieces and nephews.

Sue Davis will lie in state on Thursday September 9th from 1 until 7 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. The family will have a funeral service at the graveside in the Wilson Cemetery at 10 AM on Friday September 10th.

The family requests everyone wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines.
