

Ted Hamilton age 79 was born March 25, 1935 and passed away November 10, 2014 at Physician Regional Hospital in Knoxville, TN. He lived in Sneedville for 16 years in the Mulberry Community. He was a member of Rosehill Pentacostal, Emmaus Lutheran and Central Westlyan in Indianapolis. He was a devout Christian. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Allen and Beulah H. Wagner Hamilton; son, Derrick “Rick” Hamilton and brother Danny Hamilton. He was in Guiness Book of World Records, in 1982 he won world record for 1 finger pull-ups also worked in many other feats of strength; he was also able to bend 10 nickles and various other feats of strength. He was an amature sculpter, he took 2nd place in Indiana competition for busts. Mr. Hamilton was also an avid Dancer, placing 2nd in dance fever contest with his daughter Tammy. He worked at General Motors (Chevy- Indianapolis) for 32 years and retired after 25 years of service. He also worked security at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for 18 years.

16 Grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren
Brother: Mike and Wife Sharon Hamilton

The family will receive friends Thursday and Friday nights November 13 and 14, 2014 from 5 until 8 P.M. at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell. Funeral service 2:00 P.M. Saturday November 15, 2014 in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the Hamilton Hill Cemetery.
