Thomas A. Neely

Thomas A. Neely “Papaw Tommy”, age 67, of New Tazewell, Tn., was born Dec. 21, 1943, passed away Nov. 2, 2011 at his home. He was a member of Meyers Grove Baptist Church; was saved May 22, 1981; baptized July 26, 1981; worked at Midway School and hauled lime locally for over 25 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maude and Troy Neely and infant son, David Thomas Neely. He is survived by his loving wife: Rowena Neely of New Tazewell, Tn.; daughters: Sandy Rosenbalm, Angie and J.T. Coffey all of New Tazewell, Tn.; son, Brian and Dawn Neely of Powder Springs, Ga.; stepson, Scott and Angie Buchanan of Tazewell, Tn; grandchildren, Thomas Ford, Amanda and Lance Cox, Kelli Rosembalm, Kelsey and Kaylor Neely all of New Tazewell, Tn., Tyler Neely of Powder Springs, Ga. and Ashley and Mary Buchanan of Tazewell, Tn.; great grandchildren, Allyn Carmony and Dizel Ford of New Tazewell, Tn., Devon Cox and Dawson Rosenbalm all of New Tazewell, Tn.; siblings, Joe and Sammie Neely of Knoxville, Tn., Doyle Neely of Morristown, Tn., Janice Carmon of New Tazewell, Tn., Jill and Bill Roberts of Cynthiana, Ky.; The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Friday, Nov. 4, 2011 at Coffey Funeral Home in New Tazewell. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM Sat., Nov. 5, 2011 at the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Russell and Rev. Dallas Harrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Fords Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jim Carmon, Mike Harmon, Curt Rosenbalm, Mark Woody, Buster Cole and Bill Russell; Honorary pallbearers: Joe Neely and Kookie Laws.
