Bernard Gordon

GORDON, Bernard Michael, z”l, 40, of NY, NY, died on December 14th, 2025, after a stroke in August. Bernard is the precious son of Mark R. (zt”l) and Patricia Gordon (née Caughey); devoted husband of Jennifer Gordon (née Grischkan); proud father of two brilliant and playful children, Hannah and Mark A. Gordon; prudent brother of Rebecca Coulson (Bud) and Dora Gordon. A leader in the financial services industry, Bernard served as managing director at BlackRock, Inc, where his colleagues knew him for his rigor, integrity, and steady dependability. An avid cyclist, he could often be found on weekend bike rides out of the city. In his life at work and at home, innumerable lives benefited from his good judgment and incisive nature. He tirelessly devoted his entire life to us all. We are bettered by his care and honored if devastated to survive him so soon. A funeral service will be held at 11:30am on Tuesday, Dec 16th at Riverside Memorial Chapel in NY, NY. Please contact the family for shiva information.
