Where to begin. I type this with a heavy heart and many regrets. I'm sorry I didn't make it out sooner. I'm sorry for every time I didn't call when I should have. I love you and miss you so much that it physically hurts. I could hardly keep myself together over the weekend. On Monday, I read 1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18 for you. I think you would have loved it. I thought I messed it up, but some people said I did alright. Nothing will be the same without you, Nan. We will always miss and love you. I have memories of being invited to family gatherings and having the privilege of knowing Mrs. Davidson.   She was always smiling and laughing and I was in awe of her strength during difficult times… I will always remember her just as she is in her photo …. It truly depicts how I remember her … always with a smile!

Nani was such a special woman. She touched the lives of so many people with her sense of humor and her gift of story telling. We cherish the times we had with her, as she was so similar to our own grandmother's that we feel blessed to have created memories with her. She always welcomed our family into hers without batting a lash. She was a one in a million babe and will be at peace with her Stephen dancing to Sinatra.

I was honored to have Carol as a friend.  Her humor and warmth will always be with me.  I loved our dinners at Arturo's and the laughs we shared.  She was a shoulder to lean on and a heart full of love for her family and friends.  She was always so proud when she talked of her children, grandchildren and beamed when she would show pictures of her great grandchildren.  The love of her life was her Steve and they are together again to continue their love story.  My heart is broken and my deepest, deepest sympathy to all of you.

The heavens have gained an angel in you. You have always been so sweet to me and my family. You will be missed here on earth but will always be forever in our hearts. 

I’ll miss all the Sunday morning buttered rolls. I’ll miss the “Hi sweetie” when you first pick up the phone. I’ll miss the Christmas villages and the life sizes Santa that was borderline scary. I’ll miss you Nani, I love you.
