Cora Lee Ruffin was born to Walter and Mary Ruffin on September 8, 1928 in Lewiston, North Carolina. She passed away on March 20th 2012. Cora was one of eight children and she leaves to mourn her sister Clara Washington and a host of nieces and nephews and cousin and friends. Cora enjoyed cooking and loved pets. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She enjoyed praising her God Jehovah, when her health would permit. Cora was very humorous and had many expressions such as, “I don’t have a nickel in that quarter”, when she didn’t agree with something. Our beloved Cora will be dearly missed.
