Dear Brenda, Jacob, Koren and Sheila,
With great sorrow we've heard about the passing away of our dearest cousin David.
We feel close to you all at this hard moment, and share with you the good feelings of his memory.

Sincere condolences to you all. I knew David for many years through my work at the court clinic program and we had also shared our families' experiences of the Holocaust.  He was a lovely person who did much good and will be very much missed.

Dear Brenda, Jacob, Sheila,
    I knew David for 22 years and my memories of him are filled with many wonderful conversations. David and I had wonderful conversations in NY Family Court about the families and children we serve. Outside of court, I would run into David in the Union Sq. market and we would discuss favorite foods and market stalls. When David joined LFC post retirement, he shared with me his wisdom, insight and more wonderful stories. I will always remember the warmth of his smile and the generosity of his spirit. To Brenda, Jacob, Sheila - David and I worked together for so many of those 30 years he was at JRD. He was a fine man, a fine friend, a fine lawyer - a man who could call on what he had learned and felt in his own hellish experiences in his childhood during World War 2 - and then give to his clients and their  families his kindness and human understanding while he was also giving to them excellent legal representation. A special man, a special human being. It was an honor to know him and to work with him, to benefit from his views and opinions - and sometimes it was also fun.
