Faith Stern, 90, a lifelong New Yorker, passed away on April 14, 2025. A graduate of The Brearley School and Smith College, Faith found her passion in the arts. She worked as a graphic designer for Seventeen Magazine before pursuing her talents as a sculptor, photographer, and mixed media artist. Her works were featured at the Benson Gallery in Bridgehampton, NY.
Faith’s life was filled with adventure, creativity, and deep connections. She cherished her family, friends, love of travel, her convertible automobiles, and treasured pets including her cats Ashley and Humphrey and her Italian Greyhound, Mia.
Ironically, Ms. Stern passed the day RMS Titanic struck the iceberg. Her grandfather, Eugene J. Meyer, went down with the ship while his wife, Leila Saks (Meyer) Ranger, survived to raise their daughter, Jane Meyer Stern, Faith’s mother, who later married George A. Stern.
Faith was pre-deceased by her sister, June Stern Iseman. She is survived by her nephews, David H. Iseman and James E. Iseman, her grand-niece, Alexandra J. Iseman, and Alexandra’s mother, Laurie M. Palanza.
May her memory live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
