Horst "Charlie" Schneider born in Germany on September 11, 1933. He resided in Yorkville until 1986, from where he moved to Astoria and later moved to Burlington, NJ. He was employed/retired as a handyman for local union 32BJ. He admired John Wayne and Marilyn Monroe and was an avid collector of coins, comic books an memorabilia. He also loved animals. He is survived by his wife Patricia of 61 years; his son, Robert and wife Woncha, grandson Scott and great grandchildren Sanai and Anjae; his daughter, Elizabeth and her husband Ted, granddaughters Amanda, Isabelle and Alison. He was predeceased by his daughter Debra, but survived by her daughter and his granddaughter Rachel.
