DORFMAN - Howard, 95, on October 16, 2023. Professor Emeritus, Albert Einstein College of Medicine. World renowned authority on bone pathology. Past President of the New York Pathological Society and of the International Skeletal Society. Co-author of definitive textbook on bone tumors. Beloved husband of Esther Dorfman (nee Novick), father of Richard and Peter Dorfman and Leslie Dorfman Davis. Grandfather of Susannah Dorfman Wong, Erica Birkner, and Benjamin Dorfman. Great grandfather of Samara and Edmond Wong, Stella and Wesley Birkner, and Donovan, Niamh and Sheridan Brennan-Dorfman. A Memorial service will be held on Sunday November 19th at 3:00 pm, at The Riverside, Amsterdam Ave and 76th St in NYC.
