Passed away peacefully at home after a heroic struggle against pancreatic cancer. Jack was born in Akron, Ohio, and moved to New York City in the late 60’s where he embarked on a career as a highly respected advertising executive. Much as he loved his work, his real passions were family, friends, cooking and Fire Island. Jack always made an impression on people thanks to his innate generosity, desire to help others, and insistence on saying what he thought.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Lewis, his brother, Robert Gellatly, his sister-in-law, Lisa Brewer, his nephew, Clayton Gellatly, and his nieces Lauren Gellatly Hoeckel and Heather McFadzean.
