Lewis Feinman

Lewis "Lew" Feinman, D.P.M., age 83, died on July 3, 2018 in South Hampton, NY, having spent his last days in his beloved Montauk. Born December 4,1935 in New York, NY. Dr. Feinman was board certified in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with a Diplomate in Ambulatory Surgery. He began his career at Mount Sinai Hospital, and spent more than 40 years in private practice in Manhattan where he specialized in ambulatory surgery, sports medicine and orthotics. Having authored “Steps Away from Wrinkles” in 1986, Dr. Feinman was an early innovator in the area of restorative balance.

Lewis was the beloved husband of Rita for 53 years, and a devoted father to Lisa and her husband Robbie Myers, and Lora and her husband Jason Weinstock. He was the adoring grandfather of Danielle Myers and Luke Myers; and Miles Weinstock and Piper Weinstock.

Lew was an avid boater and deepsea fisherman, taking time out only to use his professional skills to help people wherever he traveled. He will be missed by many.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018 at Riverside Memorial Chapel, 180 W 76th Street, New York, NY 10023, with burial to follow.
