ARNOLD, Margaret., Senior Scientific Associate, Department of Herpetology, American Museum of Natural History, and beloved wife, mother, and friend, died on June 2, 2022, in New York City after living two years with pancreatic cancer. Born in New York on June 5, 1964, to Dr. William Arnold and Barbara Neubauer Arnold, she graduated from Brearley in 1982, and Cornell University in 1986.
She married Paul Ryan at The Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea in Palm Beach on February 24, 2001. Her son Edward (“Teddy”) Burke Ryan was born on January 31, 2003. She is survived by her brother James Arnold, sister Susan Arnold, and five nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4PM on Sunday, June 12th at The Church of the Heavenly Rest, 1085 5th Avenue (212-289-3400).
