Dear Elizabeth and family, 
My deepest condolences to you.  It was always nice to see your mother whenever she flew out.  I feel like I saw her at every school show.  She was such a supportive grandmother.  She will be missed. Take care and rest assured that she is rejoicing in heaven.

Dear Elizabeth and Family.

I am so sorry for your deep loss;  Peggy will be greatly missed.  Elizabeth, as you were my first dear friend since we we were in preschool,  I would not be able to count how many times I was at your house.  Peggy always welcomed me, and include me in many family gatherings during our grade school and junior high years.  That is my memory of her.  Always treating me with kindness and caring.  Her loss will be great, but may you find light and peace.  Lisa

 



To Peggy  a very special and wonderful  woman and Human Being.       I will have to be brief because my laptop skills are awful , Peggy was the perfect sister in law ,l, Peggy made all our family gatherings a delight and meaning full , as well as our collective family Peggy and myself had a lovely rapport on the side , we shared a coast to coast  - NY to LA -  friendship our own version of “ Hands across the Sea “ sharing news ,Events, movies , pbs ,and the buffoons / celebrities making idiots of themselves , I will miss Peggy but Will remember her forever ,safe passage Peggy .Love Brian ,

I leave tomorrow morning for New York to attend the visitation and funeral services for my beloved sister in law, Margaret Harvey. I have been so fortunate to have had her in my life for such a long time. But i am selfish, I want more. I will miss you every single day for the rest of my life. The words that describe her echo throughout all the memories left here, kind, generous, a wonderful smile with a beautiful soul.  But she was more than that to me. She was much closer to a sister to me, always there, always ready to listen, so many shared memories.  I can’t wait till we are together again. I love you Peggy.

To dearest Elizabeth and Jo and the family -

This is a terribly sad time, but there is consolation in the fact that you and Jo were with Peggy in her final hours. Your mom added her own special grace and presence to our family, and there was always her kindness. She frequently sent me cuttings of things Irish she thought I would be interested in, and she always had beautiful presents for me when I came home for Christmas. 

I treasure the photo of the last Christmas we all spent together at Eilish's. I am standing behind Peggy, and I am holding her hand.

Sending condolence to the family of Peggy Harvey.
Peggy was one of the first people to greet my husband, Abe Baumel, with her beautiful smile, when he was appointed principal of Stuyvesant High School and was always a great support to him.
May her memory be a blessing.

The deep sadness now felt by so many as our beloved Aunty Peggy has joined our loved ones in Heaven.  Hug and Kiss them all for me.  I remember the first wee little dress you sent to me all the way from NYC to California, when I was just a tot.  I remember my visits to NYC and fondly walking about the city with you.  I remember all the special moments and memories, the gatherings, the long distance chats, the love and the laughter we shared with our similar sense of humor.  I remember above all, how you loved me dearly and as the years past our relationship grew to what is is today.  I also remember how you loved each and every one in my family,  my daughters, and my husband in the way that only you can do, and how much you gave to so many, freely and willingly.  So very rare and special.  I am beyond grateful for the time we had together (61 years), and I am deeply saddened.  I will always miss your presence, your laughter,  your gentle ways, and your beautiful smile.   But I will hold near and dear to my heart our last days together, singing songs and laughing in the face of the storm.  You are nothing short of amazing.  To my dearest cousin Elizabeth and her family, I hold you in my heart each and every day and will continue to pray for peace and comfort for you all.  I am so very sorry for all that has transpired and wish you all peace and comfort in the coming days.  God Speed my beautiful Aunt.  All of my love, Paula
