Marilyn Ostrow born September 22, 1935, died peacefully on March 4, 2020, at the Dawn Greene Hospice at Mary Manning Walsh Home after a long illness. Marilyn was a devoted sister, Aunt, and Friend. Born in Brooklyn to Abraham and Ann Ostrow, Marilyn spent her life in New York building a career in the advertising and medical field. Marilyn gave every job her 100% devotion and incredible acumen. Marilyn had a robust and sardonic sense of humor and loved to laugh, often about life's many ironies. She will be remembered with so much love from her family and friends. She is survived by her loving sister Susan E. Ostrow who, for the past ten years, has been her primary caretaker. She also leaves her brother Stuart Ostrow, her niece Kate Yadan her nephew in law Judah Yadan and her Grand Niece Abigail Yadan, her nephew John Ostrow and grand Nephews, James and Stuart Ostrow. A private graveside burial is planned for Friday, March 6, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Marilyn's memory to the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association in honor of the many years she worked with Dr. Joseph G. McCarthy at the NYU Langone Health Medical Center.
