I was roommates with Marty when we were young in the Bronx   I had no idea he had passed. I talked to him probably about 5 or six years ago after not seeing him for 20 years. Marty was a special guy, I used to call him a woodchipper because he always talk and laugh when he ate and food would fly everywhere.! We had some amazing times together as roommates.going to clubs , racing , skiing hanging out at the house working on our cars .. god we had so many fun times.  He was one of my groomsmen when I got married. I feel horrible that I lost touch with him as I went on in my own journey through life. I hope to see you on the other side bud. Marty can’t believe it’s been 2 years. I miss talking to you, laughing with you. Me and you bitching about everything. Theirs not a day that goes by that I don’t think or cry for you. Mom, Aunt Josie Aunt Helena Owen & Kelly miss you. Owen got married last month. You would have been so proud of him and happy. Kelly had a baby girl Isabella. Marty you would love her. Our extended family as well also think of you and your friends. You were my brother and most my best friend. I Love You & Miss You. Until we are together again keep looking over us. 😘❤️❤️❤️🍀

I can't believe is been a year that ur no longer here...u were always someone really special to me...u were my first true love and I was yours... even though we didn't stay together, we would wind up back in each other's lives and arms.  From in our teens, into our twenties, thirties, forties and last in our 50s.... I'm so grateful to have been able to be a part of your life the last 6 months you were here on earth with us... i miss our late night talks and how we would fall asleep on the phone with each other and then to wake up and we would both still be there ..and ur smile and the sparkle in your eyes ,I truly miss seeing it... the expressions on your face always said what u were thinking.... ur laugh was contagious and I loved it...I loved you Marty and always will...I hope we will see each other again one day.... my heart aches so bad....u will always be my Marty .... and i, ur Michelle....

I couldn’t tell you how many times I thought of calling Marty for advice, just touching base or to vent. Marty always had something to say which would make me laugh. I’m sure he is doing it in heaven.

I'm in shock so sorry to his mom sister aunts I would like to call you guys Talk about fun times we had . RIP to great kid fun to be around no more pain love God heaven please call me when have time  my Number is 1916 720 1957 I will Light a candle for Marty .To his mom I no how much your hurting how much you love your kids your great mom and  grandma R I P Marty

My deepest sympathy to you all... I'm going to miss Marty tremendously... He's been a part of my life on and off the last 40 yrs and the last time we reconnected again was this past June... I talked to him on the phone just about everyday since then and saw him in Sept and Oct. He had planned to come stay with me for a few weeks in Florida, after the holidays.. He's always been someone very, very special to me and I've always had much love for him... Thank u for sharing all the wonderful photos of him, ur family and many of his friends with all of us...

My prayers and condolences go out to his family I new and grew up with Marty and his family my whole life it saddens me that I haven't seen or heard from him in the last 10 years then I get the worst news any one can get he passed away and so young I guess God needed u Marty you'll be up there with  bunch of Yorkville neighborhood friends .Marty u were a great friend u will be missed take care brother R.I.P and God bless.

Marty and I went to St. Stephens together.  I have great memories. He was always a jokester and friend.  He will be missed! My sincerest condolences to Margaret and the family. 

Praying for the entire family and all that have had the honor of knowing Marty.  I have only had the pleasure through stories. However, it is evident that he was a loving brother and uncle.
