Michael proudly served in the United States Army and attended Rutgers University. He spent his entire professional career in the legal technology field, where he built exceptional relationships with clients and formed friendships that lasted a lifetime.
Michael was deeply committed to service. He served as an Internal Director for the Westfield Jaycees, later as President of the Parents Guild at Oratory Preparatory School in Summit, New Jersey, and took great pleasure in volunteering at the Mary Manning Walsh Home in New York City.
Michael was predeceased by his loving parents, Michael and Ellen, and his brothers William and Brian.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, his steadfast partner in life and the love of his heart, Carole Anne; his son, Dustin, and daughter-in-law, Lauren, whom he admired for their deep love of family; and his cherished grandchildren—who knew him lovingly as “Cappie”—with whom he enjoyed spending time with at his summer home by the water in New Jersey: Windsor Anne (9), Parker Mae (7), and Hayes Michael (3).
Michael will be remembered for his devotion to family, his service to country and community, and his warmth, integrity, and quiet leadership.
