D’Angelo-Millicent K. age 91, of New York City died on August 30th, 2021. Millicent was born in Buffalo, New York and lived in Mahwah, NJ before moving to New York City 16 years ago. She began her career as a Personnel Assistant working for Crowell-Collier Publishing for women’s Home Companion, after the company folded, she moved on with her career and became a writer for Chemical Engineering magazine where her name was included on the mast head. She was retired after working 25 years as a cherished customer service representative for Abraham & Strauss.
Throughout Millicent’s life, she developed a love of travel and adventure. She particularly held close to her the multiple family trips to Walt Disney World, and the numerous trips to her favorite European destinations; London, Vienna, Paris, Italy and Scotland. Millicent was also known for her keen fashion sense and style. Her warm rosy cheeks and big smile could warm any room she walked into.
Beloved wife of the late Anthony C. D’Angelo. Mother of Donna Zehring of Roxbury, CT, Daryl D’Angelo of Hillsborough, NJ, Douglas D’Angelo of Mahwah, NJ and Dorian Brounstein of New York City. She is also survived by nine adored grandchildren.
