She emigrated from Hungary to Israel and later to the United States, where she built a full and vibrant life. Miri was married to Dr. Eli Marcovici, her devoted husband and partner. Together they raised three children—Eyal, Keri, and Amy—and she was a proud and loving grandmother to Luca and Brighton, whom she cherished deeply.
Miri managed her husband’s ophthalmology practice and was known for her warmth, elegance, and appreciation of life. She enjoyed hosting gatherings, dancing, traveling, fashion, literature, and public broadcasting. Above all, she valued family, friendship, kindness, and wisdom, and took a sincere and enduring interest in the lives of those around her.
In keeping with her lifelong generosity and concern for others, Miri donated her body to science. In her memory, donations may be made below.
